We serve Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard exclusively. That focus means we know the towns, the codes, the weather, and the homes.
MA Unrestricted CSL, HIC License #218236, OSHA-30 certified, and fully insured. Every box checked before we set foot on your property.
Clear scope, honest pricing, no surprises. We tell you what your project needs and what it costs, before anything starts.
We source materials from local Cape Cod suppliers, including Shepley's, Mid-Cape Home Centers, Falmouth Lumber, and Stonewood, wherever possible. Your project stays local from start to finish.
Every project is backed by our written warranty. If anything fails due to improper installation, we provide all labor to repair it at no cost, or replace it with a product of equal quality. We also evaluate manufacturer warranty claims at no charge for the life of the manufacturer's warranty.

Historic district work requires more than a license. It requires understanding of architectural character, approved materials, and the approval process. We've done it.
Massachusetts requires contractors to be properly licensed before working on your home. Here is every credential Cape Cod Exteriors holds. You can verify each one.
Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, the highest license tier issued by the state. Most contractors on Cape Cod hold only a Restricted CSL, which limits them to one- and two-family homes exclusively. Our Unrestricted CSL goes further: it covers one- and two-family homes of any size, plus commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use buildings up to 35,000 cubic feet. That covers virtually every structure on Cape Cod. If you own a business, a rental property, or a mixed-use building, we have the credentials to legally supervise the work.
Massachusetts HIC License is required by law for any contractor performing home improvement work. Always ask to see this before hiring.
OSHA-30 certification means job site safety is taken seriously. Most contractors only carry OSHA-10. We hold the higher standard.
Massachusetts law requires LSR-S certification for any project disturbing painted surfaces in pre-1978 homes (most of Cape Cod). The federal EPA RRP Rule adds another layer: uncertified contractors face fines up to $41,484 per violation per day. Lead dust is invisible and permanently dangerous to children. We are certified. Most contractors are not.
Insurance coverage protects you and your property. Certificate of insurance available before any work begins, no hesitation.
We pull permits on jobs where permits are required, and we handle the process. If a contractor says you don't need one, get a second opinion.
We'll provide proof of every license and insurance policy before any work begins. No hesitation.

Route 6A runs through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the country. Barnstable Village, Yarmouth Port, Dennis Village, Brewster. The shingled colonials, the saltboxes, the old Capes passed down through families for generations. Cottage City in Oak Bluffs, the gingerbread houses, Edgartown's captain homes. This is the work we do every day.
Over 40% of the housing stock on Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard was built before 1978. These homes have original trim, sills, and window frames that contain lead paint. Any contractor doing exterior work on these homes is required by law to hold LSR-S certification. We hold it. Most don't.
Every pre-1978 project gets proper containment, HEPA vacuuming, wet methods to suppress dust, and thorough post-work cleanup. Massachusetts fines for non-compliance run up to $5,000 per violation. Federal EPA fines go up to $41,484 per day. We take it seriously because your family's safety depends on it.
Old Kings Highway, Cottage City, Edgartown, Provincetown. Each district has its own rules about materials, colors, and architectural character. We handle the approval process so you don't have to. The windows go in right, and they go in approved.
Before hiring any contractor for work on a pre-1978 home, ask for their LSR-S certification. If they can't produce it, they're working illegally.

You've spent years in the field and you know roofing inside and out: underlayment, ventilation, flashing, ice dams, the stuff that actually determines whether a roof lasts 15 years or 40. You care about doing it right for the homeowner, not just closing a deal. Maybe your body is telling you it's time to stop swinging a hammer, but your knowledge is worth more than ever. We want someone who can walk a roof, see what's really going on, sit down with a homeowner, and give them honest guidance they can trust. The sale follows naturally when the advice is real.
You know windows like the back of your hand. Double hung, casement, awning, glider, picture, patio doors - you can talk about the differences between them for hours without running out of things to say. You understand U-factors, Solar Heat Gain Coefficients, Low-E coatings, argon fills, grille profiles, hardware finishes, frame materials, and installation methods. You know why a casement outperforms a slider in a coastal environment and you can explain it to a homeowner in plain English.
You should be able to sit with the owner and discuss windows for hours on end without compromise. Product knowledge is not optional here - it is the job. We sell premium replacement windows and we need someone who can match the product to the home, the homeowner's priorities, and the Cape Cod environment with real expertise. The sale happens naturally when the homeowner trusts that you actually know what you're talking about.
If you've spent years in the window industry and you're tired of working for companies that treat you like a number, let's talk.
Cape Cod Exteriors is expanding and we're looking for the right people to own and operate franchise territories in Connecticut and Rhode Island. This is not a job listing - this is a business ownership opportunity backed by a proven model, a world-class pricing engine, premium product lines, and the operational infrastructure to hit the ground running from day one.
The ideal franchise owner has experience in the exterior remodeling or home improvement industry, understands consultative sales, and wants to build something of their own. You'll get exclusive territory rights, access to our full product catalog, our proprietary contract and pricing technology, marketing support, and a brand that stands for quality over volume.
You won't be on your own. Cape Cod Exteriors operates its own call center that supports franchise territories directly - handling inbound leads, booking appointments, and making sure no opportunity falls through the cracks. You focus on selling and managing your market. We handle the phones.
If you've been in this industry long enough to know what's broken and you want to do it the right way under your own roof, reach out. Serious inquiries only.
The homeowner is always right, and your job is to make them happy. No exceptions.
You're managing multiple active job sites, coordinating crews, handling scheduling and inspections, and being the person the homeowner trusts to keep their project on track. When something goes sideways, you fix it before they even know about it. When they have a concern, you handle it like it's your own house.
20+ years of construction experience required. We need someone crews respect and homeowners feel confident in.
Manage product inventory, receive and stage window and door shipments, coordinate deliveries to job sites, and keep the warehouse organized. Must be detail-oriented, physically capable, and reliable.
Answer calls, book appointments, manage scheduling, and keep the operation running smoothly. You're the first voice homeowners hear, and the reason we don't miss a single lead. Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable on the phone.
We want Cape Cod Exteriors at every home show, town fair, chamber event, and community gathering on the Cape. You'll plan, coordinate, and run our presence at local events: setting up displays, engaging with homeowners, collecting leads, and representing the brand. You're organized, outgoing, and you know the Cape Cod community inside and out.
Every active job site is a billboard. When we're on a street, the neighbors should know about it. You'll manage yard signs, door hangers, neighborhood mailers, and local outreach around our active projects. The goal is simple: when we're working on a house, every neighbor within a quarter mile knows Cape Cod Exteriors is there and doing great work. Boots on the ground, not behind a desk.
Don't see the perfect fit? Send your resume anyway. We're always looking for good people and we keep every resume on file. When the right role opens up, we'll call you first.
